An Open Air lifestyle expansion for the once totally enclosed Baybrook Mall nearHouston complements yesterday's anchors and shops with new outdoor entertainment, restaurants and shops.
The expansion is organized around an open lawn that offers a place to gather for community activities and collective leisure. A parking deck provides additional capacity for shoppers. A future power center will expand the box and shop retail offerings to this regional center.
Enhancements to Baybrook included 30 new retail tenant spaces and 10 restaurant spaces, all anchored around an open-air multi-purpose lawn.
To enhance the shopper’s experience at Baybrook and bring them out of the 70’s, MB STUDIO designed the expansion with community in mind. A 285,000 SF multi-purpose lifestyle space, known as The Lawn, is the focal point of the expansion. More than 100 yards long, The Lawn serves as a hub for entertainment and community activities.
Entertainment options like Dave & Busters and Star Cinema Grill add a variety of venues for visitors to explore after shopping or dining at Baybrook Mall.
